•  Four Men...One Mission

Reconciled was started in 2007 by four men: Keith Merrow, Jim Rathbun, Jason Eaton, and Dave Potts, who all attended Central Church of Nazarene in Flint, MI. Primarily this group sang for offertories, choir concerts, and other miscellaneous events. What started out as an extension of the music program of Central Church, has turned into an anointed ministry that has seen God's hand opening doors and expanding its purpose.

Reconciled travels whenever the Lord opens the door. This ministry, still in it's infancy, has allowed the group to sing at secular as well as religious functions. We fervently pray for God's divine appointments and seek His will for this group. We truly have no idea where it will all lead, but confidently place it all in His capable hands.

So our mission is clear...serve God by spreading His Word through sacred music divinely inspired and ultimately penned by His Hand, so that others may know the love of Christ and be saved!

    Jason Eaton - Tenor

Jason, best known to congregations for his powerfully high tenor, transparency of his heart, and the ability to convey the message in a song. In 2001-02, Jason traveled professionally with the group Liberty Quartet for two years before returning back to teaching. He is no stranger to gospel music as he has also been a part of other quartets including: Crimson Quartet, Highest Honor, and the Master's Quartet. He is currently a music educator at Hartland Consolidated Schools where he teaches elementary music to grades Kindergarten through 4th grade. He has been teaching for 11 years.
He also has his own solo ministry and has his own Pop/Rock CD. Check out his website at www.jasoneaton.org. His wife Wendy Jo of 13 years as of July  08, is a stay at home mom who cares for their three boys: Grayson (6), Jayden (4), and Brayden (1). His favorite verse: Isaiah 40:31 "But those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint." NKJV

    Jim Rathbun-Lead/Baritone

Jim, singing baritone, strengthens the quartet with his robust, yet smooth, baritone voice. He has been singing in churches and throughout Michigan for as long as he can remember. He is currently a committed member of the choir and praise team at Central Church where he also exhibits his talent in drama often playing one of the lead roles in their Christmas and Easter programs. As a soloist Jim has participated in a variety of events from (his daughter's) dance recitals, chorales and community theatre, and is often requested for weddings and funerals. Jim is an owner and sole barber at his barbershop in Grand Blanc Township. He and His lovely wife Lori, of 22 years, have a beautiful daughter, Cesiley (20). When Jim is not serving through music, or standing behind the barber chair, you would most likely find him golfing, bow hunting, or in the gym. Jim's faith is strengthened through his favorite verse: Prov 3: 5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart do not lean on your own understanding... in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path."

    Dave Potts - Lead/Baritone

Dave, known for his powerful lead voice and versatility as a vocalist, adds a special flavor to the quartet's sound. Dave is well-versed in Gospel music and had been a part of the Gospelmen (for 8 1/2 years) and filled in for other groups such as Calvarymen, Chosen, and One Destiny. He is also very involved with Central Church in the choir, praise team, and frequently does solo work. Dave worked for General Motors and Electronic Data Systems as a Computer Aided Support specialist, for 27 years.  He has recently began a new career as a family services counselor for O'Guinn Family Funeral Homes and is excited about this door the Lord has opened.  He and his wife Donita have two children Taylor (18) and Bryce (6) and also open their home to provide foster care.  Dave enjoys touring on motorcycles, and classic and antique cars, painting/sketching, and exercise. His favorite verse: Romans 12:21 "Be not overcome with evil, but overcome evil with good."

    Keith Merrow - Bass

Keith, or "Bubba" as he is affectionately called, adds a rich, warm low bass to give Reconciled a true Southern Gospel quartet feel. Keith brings a joyful spirit and commitment to being God's man. He has also been involved with other music groups such as Living Water and others, as well as leading Praise & Worship. He is also actively involved with the praise and worship teams, choir, and solo work at Central Church. He is married to the love of his life Robyn, who was instrumental in helping Keith return to music ministry after many years of absence. Together, they have four children: Amanda, Timothy, Amber, Jessica, and even one grandson Cole. Currently, Keith teaches elementary students in Grand Blanc Community Schools. He enjoys golf, survival camping and backpacking, and being outside. His favorite verse: Psalm 46:1 "God is our refuge and strength, and ever present help in trouble."
